I want to thank you for giving me withdrawl symptoms. I have been with out TV for the past 8 weeks and have been doing pretty good. I’ve written a little, nothing of any substance just fun for me, read six books and five scientific papers. However, when I read your article that wonderful feeling that comes with crawling into bed listening to the soothing Scottish voice of Sean Connery addressing the crew of the Red October came flooding back to me. Now shaking and covered in a cold sweat I frantically search the internet for something to appease my insatiable lust for the “New Classics” that will haunt my dreams.

Yeah I completely understand. I was up until 2 in the morning a few months back watching Road House, and just as I was about to turn the TV off, Hudson Hawk came on, and I had to stay awake. Damn good movies.

I didn’t sleep until 6 because Die Hard came on USA (this was on TNT) two seconds later.
